In the absence of fear and worry…

You have Body Comfortable in the absence of fear and worry. Why are we always worried? Because of the thoughts that pass through our mind. When you’re not experiencing your body inhaling and exhaling, it means you are having thoughts. You can’t tell your mind “Don’t think!” and so you can’t order yourself to not worry, to not be afraid. But you can say to your mind, “You have a job. Your job is to stay with the process of inhalation and exhalation.”

Supporting and receiving support from the entirety…

Nothing exists without the principle of Mutual Support. A carpet maintains its form by the support each knot gives all the other knots. A cup is a cup because every atom, through the principle of Mutual Support, supports all the other atoms to hold together. Look at a tree—the branches, trunk, fruit, leaves, and flowers have one thing in common that connects them—the sap. When a branch gets disconnected from the tree and the sap, it no longer has life. Likewise, if we lose our connection to the consciousness in the life force, we are not truly alive. We don’t know who we are, and we look to others to tell us! When you know you are being supported, you wish to support. And you can’t support just one thing, because there is no such thing as “one thing.” Nothing in the entire universe has separate existence. Everything is interrelated and interconnected. If you give support to one cell, you are supporting and receiving support from the entirety. This is so obvious, but you can’t know it by thinking it. You know it by tasting it is so.

The most precious gift you can give…

Don’t be afraid to connect to people. It’s the most precious gift you can give. When you have some interaction, some contact with people, connect to them. That increases your life force and supports them, too. When you connect, what you see of someone with your eyes is not important. Their name, where they’re from, and all the information your mind can collect about them is not important. What’s important is that you both exist in this moment. That’s connection.

Our attitude towards life…

Our attitude towards life creates energy blockages, because it causes fear and anxiety. In the absence of real knowledge and understanding, we experience fear. When you bring the mind to the activity of the body, a different kind of energy becomes available. That energy is healing, because it supports the life force. That’s how you nurture vitality instead of focusing on illness.

When you are connected to the bigger picture, your giving is something precious.

Giving and receiving need to be understood from a higher dimension. When you really give, you give to the Totality. When you really receive, you receive from the Totality. If you give to someone you relate to only in separation, you are giving only to the temporary part of them, which will only be here for seventy or eighty years or so. What kind of giving is that? But when you are connected to the bigger picture, your giving is something precious. When you smile genuinely at someone in the street, that’s true giving. When the way your waiter serves you isn’t quite perfect, but instead of expressing criticism, you remember how much life energy has been invested in the food that’s brought to you, that’s real giving. What this means is don’t forget your True nature. Don’t forget about the essential interconnectedness of all that exists. Don’t forget you are part of the Totality. When you remember this, giving and receiving have authentic meaning.

A true sense of security…

Our real feelings have no negativity. They have an inclusive quality that comes from Unity. All negativity we have in our ordinary feelings comes from outside of us. It’s not our own. Fear gives rise to negativity. A child who is sitting between a loving mother and father doesn’t know fear. When we bring body and mind together, our feelings experience it as if mother and father are present. That’s how Breema offers a true sense of security.

When mind, feelings, and body work together…

There are two keys to working with Breema. The first is to move from complication towards simplicity. When you’re confused, it means you’ve made something complicated. So simplify. When there are too many things that need to be done, you don’t know what to do, and you don’t have the energy to do any of those things, because the situation looks complicated. But say, for example, when your sink is filled with dishes, you decide to wash one plate. You’ve moved towards simplicity. You shift from potential energy to kinetic energy, and your resistance disappears. The other key is to move from diversity towards unity. You are confused because you’re only thinking. You need to think and feel and relate to your sensory impressions simultaneously. When mind, feelings, and body work together, you are moving from diversity towards unity. When you become unified within yourself, you become unified with the entire Existence.

An inner atmosphere of balance…

There are trillions of cells in the body. And there is a constant exchange between them. Every thought has an effect on them. Every feeling has an effect on them. And each effect leaves its trace. We don’t see or know how we are affected. When you bring body and mind together, you can, to some extent, experience what psychological state you are in. Eventually, you become familiar with your “psychological neighborhoods.” You may see which neighborhoods you wish to avoid, and which are beneficial to be in. When you find yourself in a bad neighborhood, you don’t have to panic. You can just come back to the experience of body inhaling and exhaling. This way, you gradually learn how to allow Conscious energy into your life. Conscious energy is available when the body, mind, and feelings come together. Then you have an inner atmosphere of balance to support you when you become imbalanced.

The beginning and end come together…

What happens when consciousness develops and fulfills its potential? The beginning and end come together, just as they do in physical evolution. The seed becomes a tree, the tree grows branches, it flowers, gives fruit, and the fruit give seeds. We come from within the Absolute. Our ultimate evolution is back to the Absolute.

Every cell of the body is working together….

When we have the definite taste of I have a body or there is a body, there is no longer any need to emphasize one part of the body over any other part. That taste is a knowledge which is equally the property of every cell of the body. Every cell of the body is working together, and the knowledge of this unity is your consciousness. When you are connected to this knowledge, the energy you use to do any activity is continually replenished.
