The heart always sees in totality.

Living from the heart means your Being is manifesting. The heart never loses track of the meaning of that which is. The heart itself is that is-ness. The first step is to be with the body. When the mind is connected to the body…

Our health is constantly affected by what we think. Like our clothing, our way of thinking covers our body and affects it. But our thoughts are based on self-interest, and when we live in the past and future, we never have a new thought. In order to become healthy, we need to have a healthy mind. When we are present, we can have new thoughts. This is possible only when the mind is connected to the body.

To move from war to peace, we need to learn the art of acceptance…

Stating it very simply, we are either at war or at peace in life. And in war, we lose. Even if it looks like we’ve won, we haven’t. In war, everyone loses.

We don’t know it, but we are at war with ourselves. We always wish to be something we’re not. We wish others to be different, to change according to our liking. We are at war with our food, critical of what we eat, or critical of ourselves for eating it. We are conditioned to always be at war.

To move from war to peace, we need to learn the art of acceptance. But acceptance is not a mental phenomenon—it can’t be learned from words, concepts, or philosophy. We learn it by experience—that’s the language of Breema.

Conscious energy can be received.

In the street, there’s constant noise from many cars going by. Those are like our thoughts—they’re from mass consciousness. When you stay with the process of inhalation and exhalation, the traffic thins out. At some point, it looks like there’s no traffic. That’s when the feelings join the mind and body. Conscious energy can be received. Begin by asking your mind to stay with the process of inhalation and exhalation. Start with three minutes a day, preferably in the morning. When you are ready, increase it to four minutes. The mind that’s free of thoughts, the mind that doesn’t live in the past and future, isn’t something you just have. You have to work for it.

Breathe, and come to your body.


We have judgment because we have a “judge.” This judge gets its authority from two places—the past and the future. That’s where it lives. When you come to the present, the judge has no authority at all. In fact, when you come to the present, there is no judge.

You may say, “I am always in the past and the future—I can’t let go of them just like that. Isn’t there some step I can take?” The answer is yes. Breathe, and come to your body. When you don’t know how to let go of the judge, breathe. Stay with your inhalation and exhalation. It may take a few breaths, but eventually you can let the judge go.

You support life, and your life is supported.

Breema supports you to relate to yourself as Being-existence, as part of one whole, unified Existence, without thought, without philosophy. That could become your posture towards life. Whatever you’re doing, let it become complete. Let each movement in Breema be one complete movement. When you wash dishes, pick up one plate and wash it, then put it away and pick up another one. When you walk, let one step mature on the ground, then, without pause, take another step. This way, you are present with yourself.

In the absence of fear and worry…

You have Body Comfortable in the absence of fear and worry. Why are we always worried? Because of the thoughts that pass through our mind. When you’re not experiencing your body inhaling and exhaling, it means you are having thoughts. You can’t tell your mind “Don’t think!” and so you can’t order yourself to not worry, to not be afraid. But you can say to your mind, “You have a job. Your job is to stay with the process of inhalation and exhalation.”

Supporting and receiving support from the entirety…

Nothing exists without the principle of Mutual Support. A carpet maintains its form by the support each knot gives all the other knots. A cup is a cup because every atom, through the principle of Mutual Support, supports all the other atoms to hold together. Look at a tree—the branches, trunk, fruit, leaves, and flowers have one thing in common that connects them—the sap. When a branch gets disconnected from the tree and the sap, it no longer has life. Likewise, if we lose our connection to the consciousness in the life force, we are not truly alive. We don’t know who we are, and we look to others to tell us! When you know you are being supported, you wish to support. And you can’t support just one thing, because there is no such thing as “one thing.” Nothing in the entire universe has separate existence. Everything is interrelated and interconnected. If you give support to one cell, you are supporting and receiving support from the entirety. This is so obvious, but you can’t know it by thinking it. You know it by tasting it is so.
